an international event
This project has been essential for the whole Venetian lagoon to promote the territory and the mobility of residents and tourists. For Ravaioli Legnami it was an honour to be part of this project.
It’s Europe’s longest over-water cycle and pedestrian path with its 7 km (5 of which overhanging), and it’s built in the Venice lagoon. An international project that integrates into the natural setting that must be protected by promoting a sustainable form of tourism.
Even the choice of using Massaranduba is in line with this vision.
Delivery times anticipated by two years
For this cycle and pedestrian path (also known as Via Podelio), Ravaioli has provided pre-assembled modules called plots. These plots are made of Massaranduba boards fastened to an exotic wood substructure with stainless steel screws. They’re pre-drilled for quicker attachment to the metal structure of the path, which was made specifically for the project.
This system and an efficient schedule allowed Impresa Coletto to anticipate delivery by about two years.
