redevelopment of an abandoned public area

Pampa Studio’s designers used Ravaioli Legnami’s materials for the “Interweave Time” project, winner of the “Radicity, The Heart of Eboli, 2019” award in 2019. The project revolved around the sustainable urban regeneration concept and aimed at redeveloping an abandoned public area in Eboli.

redesigning a space, putting things in order, reknitting the threads of the story

“This project aims at redesigning a space, putting things in order, reknitting the threads of the story, plot and warp, space and time to unravel that macramé of relationships, languages, culture, and customs we are exposed to from birth, and that creates the phenomenon we refer to as memory. This will allow for the continuity of our being and our communities.” said the designers.

“The main path is paved with pieces of crushed terracotta tiles, which hint at relics of an imaginary archaeology, like vases, and bricks from old Roman furnaces.”

The designers decided to use Ipè solid wood boards for the seats along the concrete walls to ensure durability and low maintenance.”
