A new challenge lays ahead for Ravaioli Legnami and its department for the interior Aeterno, this time on the football pitches of all Italy. The company, having its headquarters in Villanova di Bagnacavallo and today being a reference point in the decking and cladding business, will sponsor Cesena Fc in the next football championship of the Second Division, that will begin mid- August. In addition to Ravaioli, Aeterno will also be among the partners of the seahorse club, combining products for the outdoors with those for the indoors.
During the sporting year that will take it to the goal of 40 years of activity from its foundation in 1985, Ravaioli will therefore be alongside the “bianconeri”, confirming its special attention to its territory and supporting the football team symbol of Romagna. It has always been famous in all Italy for the slogans dedicated to its roots, for the choirs of the sea bend singing “Romagna Mia” as an authentic hymn and proud song, but also for its remarkable history, that has often brought it to the highest national division.
Cesena Football Club, which has just been promoted from the Third Division, has had a great 2023-2024 season, obtaining the first place in the Second Division with a good four league matches in advance, and by doing so, coming back to the cadet tournament after 6 years. This is a huge-tradition club featuring thirteen participations in the First Division – the last one was in 2015 – and has been able to make a sporting miracle after the 2018 failure, the restart from the Fourth Division and the historical transfer of ownership to the American group JRL Investments, marking the end of a 80-year-long era, during which the club owners had always been of Romagna origin – among all the Lugaresi family.
Now the picture has been completed with the return to the Second Division and both Ravaioli Legnami and Aeterno are happy to stand by this new challenge that will begin on Sunday 18th August at 8:30 p.m., when coach Michele Mignani’s “bianconeri” will be taking to the Dino Manuzzi pitch to face the Carrarese in the first turn of the new championship. On Saturday 24th August Cesena Fc will be hosted by Sassuolo, newly demoted from the First Division, and will go back to its friendly place on Tuesday 27th August at 8:30 p.m. by hosting Catanzaro Fc in the third cadet league match. The second transfer of the Seahorse club will be on Sunday 1st September against La Spezia.
For Ravaioli and Aeterno this is the confirmation of a constant effort alongside the excellence of the territory and the occasion to reach out to enthusiastic supporters, who last year contributed to the average audience of over 10,000 people at Manuzzi stadium, with the incredible number of 6353 subscribers. A few days ago, it was reported that subscribers for the new season overcame 7000 with the campaign “When Cesena plays, all Romagna plays”. Now we just have to say #daiburdel and cheer at the stands.
